First the footwear, this is really a huge addition because they have not carried footwear before this. Addition-Elle is not just offering wide calf boots but a whole line from flats to tall boots (sister store Penningtons will be carrying their own footwear line too). Prices range in price from $25 for flats to $170 for boots. Here’s a sneak peak:
When you visit the boot section at Addition-Elle be sure to scroll down to the overview section to find out the calf width for each size — excellent feature to make shopping online easier but make sure you measure both calves and go with the largest size.
If you have been looking for a better fit in your denim and have been longing for the better fit options available in the states, whine no further. Addition-Elle has unveiled their Perfect Fit Denim blues you see here on the hips of Ashley Graham and in the following video:
They are giving you three options to choose from: Curvy, Shapely, and Versatile which should be the majority of denim wearers happy.
You will find some deeply dyed twill colors for fall and a few designer brands like DKNY, Levi’s (yes they make plus size now), Suko, Angels, Silver, Apple Bottoms and more.
I am especially looking forward to the coloured twill pants and printed denim. Denim will range in price from $60 to $130 depending on brand.

I think my ultimate choice would be the green boots and olive handbag — I am not much of a green person but I really like these ones. But I really love the hounds-tooth and Mary Janes too. Decisions, decisions!

Dr Scholl’s made the Natural Sport sneakers with a special “massaging wave system” gel in the heel and forefoot.
Basically jellies for your feet without actually seeing the gel. As you can see it is not very thick but you can feel it as soon as you stop into them. From the moment I put them on I was in love with the unusual softness.
That being said, that feel-good-softness is not an all day feeling, unfortunately. Even after a full day of being on the feet and walking the heels are not as happy as when they first entered the shoes — personally I would like to have a little more gel in the heel. The shoes seem a bit warm to me too with the large rubberized toe (white part) but probably no more than a standard sneaker.
Even the bottom of the soles are cute.
I love the contrast of the orange and grey. There is also the option of black and neon pink, blue gingham and neon lime, and tan and orange. There are variations in the Natural Sport style as well. As of this posting these sneakers are on sale for $45 to $70 depending on style.
Even JD thought they were cute.
I ordered these sneakers online through Naturalizer. Their shopping/ordering process is pretty painless and they have super quick delivery within Canada at reasonable rates.

MBT has plenty of styles ranging from the traditional walking show ($245) to a cute day shoe ($149).
Fitflop has a small selection of sandals that are pretty reasonable. Both the Electra and Walkstar III are $63.99.
The Easy Spirit Antigravity collection is small but incredibly cute. Both these pairs, the Geronimo and the Oriya, are $78.95. The blue ones are even cuter because of the name.
These Sano by Mephisto are $280. I’m not sure how I feel about all the velcro I’m seeing. Love the intense red and metallic is so hot right now.
Other options include Clarks Wave line (I really didn’t like the looks of them), Avon is carrying a fit shoe, Bass Striders makes kind of a boring looking collection, and of course there are the original Sketchers. Have you seen others?
