Lane Bryant Opens Shipping to Canada

According to Liis, plus size model and blogger for LouLou Magazine’s plus division, Lane Bryant announced during Full Figure Fashion week that they will definitely be offering delivery to Canada later this year. plus size bra from Lane Bryant

This is fabulous news after being in a 2+ year Lane Bryant drought!

The Lane Bryant website has evolved over the last few years and when you visit you will now be able to shop at Catherines, Loop 18, Sonsi and Outlet all at the same time. We will just have to wait to see what they are going to charge us for shipping. I would like to think it would be along the lines of UK retailers about $9 to $12 but I won’t hold my breath that it will be that affordable.

When is this all going to happen? Some time in September. So mark your calendars!

  1. It’s about time. I will never understand how some retailers are able to ship to Canada with little or no effort and cost, while others fight progress. We’re just across the border people and we don’t live in igloos. It’s okay. You can ship to us.

I was on a website this past weekend and wanted to purchase a product worth $69.99 from the US. The company quoted me $253.00 shipping via courier and actually wanted to know if I wanted to go ahead and purchase the product. The product weighs 2.5 lbs. Are you kidding me!

Hurry Lane Bryant!! I’ve missed you terribly! LOL

  2. Yes, I’ve had similar experience Deborah! Sometimes I think they think that Canadian means “dense and desperate”.

I have also asked some companies to use USPS instead of a courier which is 100x cheaper and a few have. The only downside is there is no tracking if the parcel is lost but I have never had that happen.

I realize we are still considered “international” even though we are right next door but when I can order five items or more from ASOS/Evans for only $9 or $12 for shipping (sometimes even less than that) and it is coming from overseas, there is definitely something wrong.

I object to any shipping costs over $20 regardless of any sale prices. It just isn’t a deal if I get ripped off in shipping.
