I was on my way in the grocery store yesterday when a woman was coming out. In her cart was this bag, I instantly fell in love and practically accosted her to find out where she got it. She told me she bought it at the Naturalizer but she was sure they didn’t have anymore. I haven’t been able to check the local store but I did find it online. The picture does not do the Cab Sav color the justice that seeing it in sunlight did. I’m just not sure I love it enough to pay $75 for it. If I had this bag I would take it every where I went until I wore the finish off it.

I was crushing on Frye boots while creating a post for the other site and came across these grey Frye Mary Jane-esque shoes and had to share them with you. I heart them! One of my favorite pieces from the last few season is the irregular / asymmetric / shark tooth / cardigan. Addition-Elle had a few of them but nothing as crazy fabulous as the ones they have released with their fall line. The versatile cardigan or cardishawl is the perfect fall accessory that works with denim, dress pants, dresses, and if it’s long enough leggings.
You’ll find these babies online but not sure if you will find them all in-store as different stores get different stock depending on area. Doesn’t hurt to look though. If you want to have a sexy Halloween costume (but not one of those over the top sexy lingerie costumes if you know what I mean) then Torrid is your must stop Halloween shop. They released their Halloween look book last week although I must say it is not their best year. All the costumes are basically the same style with just a different theme. But still it’s Torrid and they are forgiven. The costumes this year come in combo sizes 1/2 and 3/4 for $66 (the cute stockings are sold separately for $8). Don’t wait for sales on your favorites because you want to make sure that it gets shipped on time which isn’t always the case when coming from outside Canada so decide and order early.
My favorite choices from their selection are the Lady Bug costume, Queen of Wonderland, and the Pirate Wench:
The make-up for all three of these could go either way — super sexy or sexy evil. Switch it up if you have more than one occasion to wear it.
Other costumes are sailor, riding hood, vampire, tea party hostess, French maid, Miss Wonderland, pirate, referee, gypsy, and a cop. They usually add a few more as the season wears on.

I was looking at the new arrivals at Anna Scholz’s official website and I realized how much I dislike her clothing… at least until I was able to see them on a body… then I fell in love. Tricked ya!
One of the things I like about Anna Scholz website is you get to see all of her pieces with and without a model. But what really makes me like a piece is seeing how it is styled on a model. There’s something about flesh, hair, and coordinating bits that really bring it home for me.
Take these examples for instance. I would never considering buying these pieces had I only seen them in the images on the left. It’s not that the pictures are bad or anything like that. The images on the right give the clothing some perspective and definitely make these pieces favorites I would want to buy:
