Sleepwear Separates

Right now, Addition-Elle (AE) has their sleepwear separates on for $19.99 each (if you buy two pieces). This will run until December 15 but you know how quickly your favorite pieces will disappear. As of yesterday AE has also instituted free returns for Canadians! Be sure to read their online policy for specifics.

Plus-Size-Cotton-Pyjamas

Surprisingly one of the hardest things I find to shop for is sleepwear. Addition-Elle does seem to be my one stop shop for sleepwear the last few years (Penningtons adult sleepwear tends to be more cutesy). I don’t like my stuff overly baggy and I like to alternate between camisole style shirts in the summer and two pieces in the winter. With Canadian weather in Eastern Ontario I never know what to expect so I never pack my seasonal sleepwear away like I do with my day clothes when the seasons change.

One my favorites at AE’s online store is the Henley PJ Top and the Plaid Flannel Bottoms. Basic sleepwear pieces every woman should have. They also make great loungewear when I’m at the computer. Being a pear shape, the separates are right up my alley as I can get two different sizes. Both the tops and bottoms are available in sizes X to 4 and as mentioned are on 2 for $39.98.

Plus Size Velour

Yes, velour track suits come in plus sizes. Especially at SWAK Designs where I found this two velour hoodie and pants. It is sold separately so if you happen to be bigger on bottom or top you can order accordingly. The top and bottom,  which comes in sizes 1x to 3x, is $27. 50 each. I love the indigo color shown here but it available in midnight, mahogany, and royal plum. Velour-Plus-Size-Track-Suit

SWAK designs is located in the United States but they ship internationally. They actually are one of the few companies that offer excellent shipping prices to Canadians — free with orders over $40. I could easily spend $40 there so free shipping is a definite bonus.

Greetings Curvy Canada!

Over the last few years of blogging at the plus size shopping blog Five Favorite Things one of the most common requests (or complaints) is the lack of plus size shopping resources for Canadians. Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner — I do after all live in Canada — Eastern Ontario, for the curious.

Canadian-FlagI’ve finally set up a Canadian version of my plus size shopping blog with a focus on Canadian shops or shops that deliver to Canada. I haven’t pinned down the format yet but I imagine it will be similar to the original blog. At the moment this blog is also sharing the same face, except for the strategically placed flag in the upper right.

I’m looking forward to expanding my merchant list and hoping you will too.
